Following a surge in cases of COVID-19, the Prime Minister has announced a nationwide lockdown from Thursday 5th November for a short period until 2nd December 2020.
If you attend the surgery for any reason please ensure you wear a mask and adhere to social distancing. Please do not attend if you have any symptoms of, or have been in contact with anyone with, coronavirus or if awaiting covid test results.
During the November lockdown period, routine and emergency appointments will continue to be available.
We would like to reassure you that routine nurse appointments will continue to take place during November including immunisations and smear tests.
Due to the high demand on our services our phone lines are very busy, If you require medical assistance or have an administrative query please consider our online consultation system. Your clinician will review your request and you will receive a response within 24-48 hours. This can be access on www.wardenlodge.webgp.com
We operate a telephone triage system; and initially a telephone appointment with a clinician will be booked. if required a face-to-face appointments will be offered following the initial call.
If you are excepting a call from the surgery, please be aware that it will be from a with held/no call ID number
Shielding will not resume during the current lockdown period. If you were previously advised to shield, or you are clinically extremely vulnerable, you must minimise your contact with others and follow government guidelines: gov.uk: Protecting People More at Risk From Coronavirus.
Please note that any flu vaccinations will still go ahead as planned during the November lockdown. You do not need to ring the surgery to check if this is going ahead.
During the lockdown period, we will process prescription requests as normal. You do not need to order extra medication in advance. Please order online, giving 72 hours’ notice.
